I designed and developed a personal website for a ceramic artist, with the goal of creating a calm, tactile digital space that reflects the materiality and rhythm of her practice. The website focuses on simplicity and negative space, allowing the forms, textures, and imperfections of the ceramics to take center stage.
In addition to the web design, I directed and photographed all visual content for the site. The photo direction emphasized natural light, soft shadows, and close attention to surface and detail, echoing the hands-on and organic nature of the ceramic process. Each image was carefully composed to feel intimate and honest, highlighting both the finished pieces and their material presence.

The aim is to create an ambiguity that challenges readers to distinguish between what is real and what is AI-generated, provoking a reflection on authenticity, originality, and the impact of technology in the field of design.

The result is an alphabet that feels both systematic and experimental — structured by its repeating base shapes, yet expressive in the way each character adapts to them.

We started with an analysis of the narrative, focusing on the character of Bernardo. His story reflected a curious young individual about the world, a traveler, and a fearless technology enthusiast, leading him to create a blog. In this context, we developed Bernardo's website, providing dynamism to the imagery empowered by the book and adapting the content to a contemporary aesthetic.
